Vintage Photo Embroidery Workshop- Adults – Oct 7th

Transform a vintage fashion photograph into a one-of-a-kind piece of textile art.

In this beginner-friendly embroidery workshop, participants will work with a vintage photograph printed directly onto fabric. You’ll learn a selection of approachable hand-embroidery stitches and use them to add flowers, leaves, color, and texture to the image.

Jacqueline  from “Ricamo Strano” will demonstrate how embroidery can highlight details within a photograph, alter the mood of an image, and create a conversation between the past and present. No previous embroidery experience is required.

Each participant will leave with a completed—or nearly completed—embroidered photograph displayed in a hoop, along with the skills and confidence to continue stitching at home.
